Back to Basics Stove-Top Popcorn Maker If you love popcorn and you don't want to use a microwave here is the perfect solution! Make perfect popcorn every time. The secret is the high 475 degree F temperature that explodes corn into larger fluffier morsels. Compare to 350 degree F hot air poppers. Much like commercial poppers, this popper has a stirring paddle on the bottom to keep kernels moving and heated evenly, so they won't burn. What we do is simply put a couple tablespoons of a vegetable oil in (we've even tried peanut!), heat oil until it will pop one kernel within a minute, put a half cup of popcorn in and stir! |
